FRANKFURT, German — Texcare International 2024, scheduled for November 6-9, will spotlight the major challenges facing the textile care industry, organizer Messe Frankfurt says. The event will focus on key areas such as automation, energy conservation, circular economy models and textile hygiene. In collaboration with industry partners, the trade fair has designed a comprehensive program to provide forward-thinking insights for the sector's future.
Texcare Forum: Free Knowledge Exchange
The event kicks off on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at noon with an opening ceremony on the Texcare Forum stage. This marks the beginning of Texcare's free lecture series, covering the main themes of the fair. Developed in partnership with key industry associations, the forum aims to facilitate knowledge transfer between experts, manufacturers and users. It will explore development trends, challenges, and innovative solutions for the industry.
Key topics include:
- Automation: Panels by VDMA and EFIT will discuss robotization in laundries, digital product passports, data security, and automation for smaller companies.
- Textile Hygiene: Hohenstein Laboratories will present current trends, including comparisons between reusable and disposable products in healthcare.
- Energy and Resources: VDMA will showcase innovative sustainability solutions, covering CSR reporting, energy management and carbon neutrality.
- Circularity: ETSA will focus on textile recycling, innovations in sorting, logistics challenges, and the use of recycled fibers.
- New Business Models: DTV will discuss circular economy initiatives, from eco-design to rental and repair services.

Exhibitor Presentations and International Market Updates — The forum will feature 20-minute slots for exhibitors to showcase their most innovative solutions. Additionally, experts from various countries will provide insights into their respective textile service markets and industry initiatives.
Guided Tours and Young Competence Program — For the first time, Texcare will offer expert-led Guided Tours, introducing participants to exciting innovations from both major players and smaller companies. The new Young Competence program, developed with the DTV and vocational schools, aims to address the skilled worker shortage by offering guided tours for budding professionals.
Networking and Industry Events — The event will host daily happy hours (except Saturday) for networking. Additionally, industry associations like CINET will present special events, including the PTC World Congress and the Global Best Practices Awards.
